Xiaomi 17 Ultra Tipped to Feature Advanced Quad Rear Cameras - No Rear Screen

Xiaomi is once again making headlines with rumours surrounding its upcoming flagship, the Xiaomi 17 Ultra.

According to the recent leaks that have been spotted, the device is expected to feature an advanced quad rear camera setup, which has been specially designed to elevate mobile photography and even cater to enthusiasts who are seeking professional-grade imaging, that too, in a smartphone.

Interestingly, reports have also suggested that the 17 Ultra will not include a rear screen, thus focusing on the same instead of optimising its previous primary display and even the camera performance.

The quad camera system has also been rumoured to include a high-resolution main sensor, an ultra-wide-angle lens, even a telephoto lens, and a dedicated macro or depth sensor.

This combination is expected to provide a real sense of versatile photography options, ranging from wide landscapes to detailed close-ups.

Xiaomi is also likely to integrate the advanced AI photography features in the device, including enhanced night mode, the real-time scene recognition, and even AI-assisted image stabilisation, which would help in ensuring crisp and vibrant photos in various conditions.

Despite the absence of a rear display, the Xiaomi 17 Ultra is still expected to retain a premium design, which would come with a sleek front panel, better curved edges, and a large AMOLED display, which would also offer high refresh rates.

The decision to skip the secondary rear screen is mainly driven by the aim for a more robust camera module, improving the overall sensor performance and also with the aim of enabling better low-light capabilities.

Moreover, the device is also said to have been packed with a high-end chipset, ample RAM, and tast storage options, thus ensuring smooth multitasking, amazing gaming, and even good media consumption.

Battery life and charging technology are also expected to be competitive, with the feature of fast-charging support to keep the device powered throughout the day.
