Vivo has also unveiled its new flagship smartphones, the Vivo X300 and Vivo X300 Pro, officially in China.
The new X300 series is another move by Vivo to venture into the high end smartphone segment with the latest performance, photography capabilities, and a sophisticated design to compete with other companies such as Samsung, Xiaomi, and OnePlus.
Design and Display
Both Vivo X300 and X300 Pro will have a curvy-edged AMOLED screen, which is excellent in providing a beautiful viewing experience with bright colors and high contrast rates.
The Pro model has a slightly bigger screen, having a 2000 resolution, and a 120 Hz refresh rate that makes sure a user will not experience any rough scrolling or, rather, a visual representation of the screen.
The phones also have an on-screen fingerprint sensor, super slim sides, and a smooth glass coating that also shows the detail focused design of Vivo.
Performance and Hardware
The Vivo X300 Pro is based on the newest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor under the hood, whereas the regular component (X300) would utilize the Dimensity 9300 chipset.
These high end processors are effective for power in multitasking, games, and artificial intelligence based applications.
The two models will support up to 16 GB of RAM and up to 1 TB of internal storage, which will give a heavy user the space and speed they need.
The new series also incorporates the V3 imaging chip installed custom by Vivo that improves the quality of photos and video processing.
This special chip enhances low light photography and video stabilization as well as real time image production, which makes the X300 series a good choice among photography enthusiasts.
Camera Innovations
Vivo is still employing a lot of efforts on mobile photography. The Vivo X300 Pro has a quad camera system with a 50MP primary camera with ultra wide and a periscope telephoto camera up to 100x digital magnification.
The camera system also includes advanced night mode, AI portrait enhancement, and the camera gives the effect of a cinematic style of shooting.
At the same time, a triple camera array can also be found on the standard Vivo X300 to make sure that the users can take clear and vivid photos in any lighting conditions.
The two devices have a high resolution 32MP front camera to capture selfies and video calls.
Battery and Charging
The devices operate on a 5,000 mAh battery, which is supported by either 100 W of fast charging on the X300 Pro or 80 W charging on the X300.
Vivo asserts that users can recharge up to 50% within less than 15 minutes, and hence there are limited downtimes throughout the day.
Software and Features
The smartphones have an Android 15 based on OriginOS 5 with interfaces that are clean and with some customization options.
The AI of the software also comprises the voice recognition, real time translation, and smart scene recognition functions.
India Launch and Pricing
Nowadays, the Vivo X300 series is sold exclusively in China.
Industry observers, however, believe that the India launch will be done within a few months.
The expected prices in India are expected to begin at the base model of Rs60,000, just like other high end smartphones in the market.
