There is no apparent preparation towards another smartphone launch. The next offering of the company, Nothing Phone 3a Lite, has entered the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) portal, showing that the India launch is imminent.
This listing lists a model number that is said to be associated with the new phone, which proves that Nothing has not limited its lineup to the flagship products.
The company is yet to make any official announcement on the matter, but this certification was usually the last one before a product could be on sale in India.
The Nothing Phone 3a Lite, according to the leaks, will be the same phone, only a bit thinner, with the same appearance and transparent design that turned into the brand symbol.
It can have 8 GB RAM, a 128 GB flash hard drive, and a 5,000 mAh battery with 33 W fast charging features that qualify it to be a force to reckon with in the middle end market segment.
The phone is said to be released in black and white colors, which will remain in the minimalist line of design as used by Nothing.
QUIP Insiders have said that the brand will be cheaper, hoping to capture users who would desire a high end experience at a reduced price.
This might be a smart direction for Nothing in India, where it is increasingly popular to demand fashionable but affordable 5G phones.
Its distinctive designs and almost stock Android experience have already made the company noticeable, and the new Lite model should help its ecosystem to become more available to more people.
Although there is no visible sign of an exact release date, it was released with the BIS certification that an official announcement of a launch may be made in a few weeks. It is predicted to be revealed by the end of the year by industry watchers.
In the meantime, both fans and tech fans cannot wait to find out how Nothing will position this new device and what surprises it might have on its actual launch.
