Google Staff Face Real Bugs in New York Office, Not Software Ones

Google employees who are working in the New York City are dealing with an unusual problem.

This problem includes real bugs, not the software ones. Recent reports suggest that the company’s office which is situated in Chelsea, Manhattan, has been facing an issue which includes infestation of insects, including bedbugs and cockroaches. 

This surprising issue has led to several serious complaints from various employees, some of them includes even choosing to work from home so that they can avoid the situation.

The Chelsea office is one of Google’s largest workplace, which is a place for thousands of employees. It has been widely known for its modern design, the open spaces, and even for the creative work atmosphere. 

But recently, the staff members from this place have started noticing bugs in their work areas and even restrooms. 

Some employees have even claimed to have seen bedbugs on office furniture and even cockroaches in the kitchen areas. The situation have reportedly became so uncomfortable that parts of the building had to be cleaned and inspected.

According to the reports, Google has already taken the required action from their side. The company has also  hired pest control experts to inspect the entire building and also carry out the procedure of deep cleaning and fumigation.

Employees were also advised to properly check their bags and even their  clothes before leaving the office, to avoid carrying those bugs home. 

Google have stated that they are taking the matter very seriously and are continously working so as to ensure that the workspace remains very safe and hygienic for everyone.

The Chelsea office has been the one of the Google’s main hubs in the U.S., and it has a major role to play in product development and management. Such an issue is very rare in large tech companies, especially those who have always been well known for maintaining clean and comfortable workplaces.
