Indian software company and a giant technology hub,  Zoho has entered the fintech hardware market with the launch of its new POS (Point-of-Sale) devices under the Zoho Payments brand.

This move is speculated to be big step in Zoho’s journey to strengthen its position in the growing digital payment sector as well as the fintech sector.

The newly launched Zoho POS hardware has been designed with the aim to help all the small and medium businesses. The hardware would help them manage payments more efficiently.

The device supports both online and offline transactions, thus, making it easy for shops, restaurants, and retailers to accept different modes of payment namely, card, UPI, and mobile payments. 

With a user-friendly interface, the system also aims to simplify the day-to-day sales operations and arrangements.

The Zoho Payments devices usually come equipped with smart touchscreens, pretty quick transaction processing, and have an integration with the Zoho’s accounting and billing software. 

This ensures that users experience a seamless financial management when its about the business owners. The devices are also built in a way that they help to provide real-time payment updates and data analytics, thus, helping businesses track their performance instantly and in a systematic way.

Zoho CEO Sridhar Vembu have also shared his thoughts on this new launch that has been announced, thus highlighting that Zoho’s fintech expansion is has been developed with the aim of helping Indian businesses move ahead with various digital systems.

He also stated that the goal is to build a strong and secure ecosystem that would not interfere with the system and helps to connect software, hardware, and payments together all into one platform.

The Zoho POS launch is also a part of the company’s larger vision which has the aim to make financial technology more accessible. The devices will also be available across major Indian cities, and will also support multiple regional languages.

Zoho will also offer customer service so as to make sure the users can move forward with their operations. 

This Zoho Payments hardware launch have made a strong footstep with Zoho’s entry into fintech hardware in India, a field  that has been currently dominated by startups and payment gateways.
